Instead of a Baltimore family watching their little girl get ready for her senior year, they have to mourn the loss of her.
According to CBS, Baltimore teen Arnesha Bowers was brutally murdered last week by two members of the blood gang. Adonay Dixon, 23, and John Childs, 20, met Bowers at a party and planned to rob her, assuming that her grandmother was wealthy.
According to the police report, the three spent the afternoon at Child’s apartment, until Bowers’ grandmother came and picked her up from the apartment. Dixon ended up following Bowers to her grandmother’s house and later that evening he return with Childs thinking that Bowers was home alone asleep. The pair entered through a basement window, police said, and when Bowers awoke Dixon dragged her into the basement while Childs ransacked the home. Childs told detectives that Dixon and Bowers were in the basement for 30 minutes and when Dixon returned he told Childs that he had killed Bowers and set the home on fire.
The two escaped with $40, an iPad and a laptop.
Arnesha had just taken her SATs and she was in the process of looking at which college she wanted to go to.
