Gucci Mane and his wife Keyshia Ka’oir Davis have welcomed their first child together, and its a boy!
“My wife just gave me a 7lb 1oz baby boy named ICE DAVIS thank u … he is here!!!!!!” the “Wake Up In the Sky” rapper, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, posted on his social media channels Wednesday evening.
“He’s here!!!!!!!!!!” Keyshia, who documented her pregnancy via Instagram, wrote on her own announcement post. “ICE DAVIS 12/23/20 7lbs,” she added, along with “#ThankYouLord OMG he is soooooo darn CUTE & PERFECT.”
In early November, the pair shared photos from their blue-themed baby shower and revealed that they were expecting a son. “We got a lil baby boy on the way @keyshiakaoir 🥶,” Mane wrote. His wife also confirmed the news on Instagram with her own pics from the shower, writing, “It’s a Boy💎 #LilGuwop.”
The two got married in October 2017 in a lavish ceremony that they documented for the show Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir: The Mane Event.
When Ka’oir appeared on “The Breakfast Club” back in 2017, she touched on their children from previous relationships. While she and Gucci both have older children, she explained why they chose to keep their children out of the public eye.
“Gucci and I both have children,” said Keyshia. “It’s a situation where I’m proud to be a mother, but I need it to be private. I don’t need the kids in the limelight. I don’t want them on social media. I need them to go to school and just be children.”
Back in 2019, Keyshia tweeted that she hoped to one day have a son with her husband, writing, “I think it’s time I get off birth control and have us the cutest lil baby boy.”
Well, it looks like they got their wish. Congrats to the happy couple!
