Unfortunately, another relationship within the rap game has come to an end, this time on more amicable terms, it appears.
Some weeks ago, Ella Bands hinted at once again becoming single. She’s been in a relationship with New York rapper A Boogie Da Hoodie, and the two just welcomed their second child together last summer. The speculation turned out to be accurate as A-Boogie posted a sad yet, admirable message on his Instagram story confirming that he and Bands have broken up.
“As much as I don’t wanna admit it, I don’t deserve you, @slaybella_,” the rapper wrote. “You have a beautiful long life ahead of you, and I don’t wanna be the reason you’re not happy. Be free, go be what you truly want to be.”
While A-Boogie may have initially come across as endearing and thoughtful in wanting the best for the mother of his children, Ella didn’t have the same energy at first. She reposted his IG story with a caption of her own. In it, she wonders why he’s even explaining their break-up over social media, telling him to “go to hell”.
She, however, does shut down rumors of any cheating playing a reason for the split. She states A-Boogie is a good man in a series of tweets, but they couldn’t see eye-to-eye as a couple.
