Up Close and Personal with Chance The Rapper

We all have something that connects us to another, which is music. With the love for music, one of the best ways to celebrate is at music festivals, having a good time and embracing love for music artists. Many different music festivals like Coachella, The Governors Ball, Made In America, and even Boston Calling are able to embrace the overall music experience. Three years ago, I was able to experience Chance The Rapper at Boston Calling, where much pushing and shoving happened throughout the audience. Fighting for the chance to see Chance up close to make the experience even more memorable. Everyone was singing with another em embrace the love for music with some of the greatest hits such as “All Night”, “Sunday Candy” and “Same Drugs” with flashing lights and clouds of smoke.

Why Chance Made Festivals So Special

With so many excited faces to see Chance The Rapper, he did something that not many artists do with such a large audience. At the end of his set, Chance went through the barricades, where he high fived those by the barricades and waved to everyone watching. This is one of the memories that made this night so impactful. Seeing your favorite artist up close and personal, showing love all around to the people whose lives changed because of Chance.

Music Festivals are able to further enhance the music experience and intimacy between the artist and their audience. That is one of the most important things to have in any concert or festival! The deeper connection makes the artist feel that much closer to you and further impacts the value of music and its messages. Many festivals are postponed rather than cancelled because the festivals want to create meaningful and exciting experiences for the future!
