Is It His Duty to Make Her Orgasm???

When it comes to sex, there is this common misconception that the man must make the woman reach her orgasm. If he doesn’t, he is labeled incapable. Or women find a way to blame him for not making her climax, and most times women blame it on the physical attributes. Even though it is the mans job to make their woman feel like a goddess in bed, it is not completely his duty to make her orgasm.

First Thing First.

One thing to understand is that not all women orgasm and that’s OK! You’re probably reading this and saying “no the hell its not.”  But according to Women’s health magazine, 10-15 percent of women are anorgasmic meaning they’re unable to orgasm. Other times it may be sexual barriers that are preventing the woman from being able to reach her point. Some of these barriers are self-scrutiny, anxiety, and not knowing what you like in the bedroom.

In order to know what we like, we must explore our bodies. This may seem a little weird but if you don’t know what you like how will he. How can he help you orgasm?  By exploring I mean playing with your self. Stimulate your body. Find what spots on your body make you feel the best. Many times women feel most comfortable using a vibrator to explore their vagina, but other toys or even your own hands can help you. After finding out what you enjoy, you can relay that information to your partner next time you guys are in the moment.

Moment of Truth.

Speaking of in the moment, there are ways to help your self during the act of having sex. Thinking too much can actually ruin the moment, whatever you’re thinking about put it to the side and just enjoy what is about to happen. Relax your body and your mind.  Another way to increase the chance of having an orgasm is foreplay, the more the merrier.  Foreplay is like a warm-up for what’s to come, no pun intended.

Lastly, know that there is no specific way to achieve an orgasm. There are different ways that a woman can have an orgasm.  Women’s health magazine does a great job of describing these ways as well. There are four different ways, clitoral, vaginal, blended and multiple. Each way, is achieved differently and depending on the woman one may be easier to achieve than the other. Maybe she’s lucky enough to do all four. If you have yet to have an orgasm don’t panic. Do some exploring, try some foreplay, and relax.
