Flenory Jr. plays the role of his father “Big Meech” in the television series produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Flenory Jr. sat down in a recent interview and talked about what it’s like to play the role of his father. He admitted that the stakes were high for him to play his dad, and that he lacked acting experience.
Jackson who only envisioned Flenory Jr. playing the role of his father, moved him to California for 18 months. He put him in acting classes where he worked with acting coaches. The actor said that he talked with his dad every night. It was important to Flenory Jr. that he got an understanding of where his dad was at that point in his life. That was the hardest part for him. However, having the opportunity to work with a veteran such as Michole White, Russell Hornsby, Wood Harris and Snoop Dogg, made the experience very rewarding. Click here for full interview.
50 Cent Felt Compelled To Tell The Story

The brothers were embraced by hip hop culture. Rappers like T.I., Rick Ross and Young Jeezy have all used the term”Meech” in their songs. Jackson was intrigued and wanted to create a television series based on their lives. Jackson said that “It’s a lifestyle choice that people are familiar with on a street level. Beautiful things do come out of the hardships or the hard lifestyles. This made me want to work on it until I got it right.”
