Iggy Azalea Cancelled Tour Because She ‘Deserves a Break’
Sometime back in March, Iggy Azalea was supposed to hit the road for The Great Escape Tour, but then it got postponed till September. Now last Friday, it was announced the tour is cancelled and ticket holders received an email where they were informed about the news.
Everyone begin to question why did she cancel the tour without an explanation? The Australian rapper did an interview with Seventeen Magazine and has spoken about why she decided to cancel the tour “She deserves a break. “
“I’ve been going non-stop for the past two years, nearly every single day. I’m not in a bad place. I think sometimes when you say you need a mental break, people are like, ’A mental break? Be sure you don’t have a breakdown because you’re sad.’ No, not necessarily,” she said. “It’s very emotionally draining to be on all the time and going all the time, planning all the time.” She continued, “It’s a lot, and it’s tough. I need a break from everything to just enjoy what I worked so hard for, and I don’t really feel like I’ve had a chance to do that. I need a break to figure out what I want my sound to progress to, and I need a break to figure out how I want my visuals to progress.”

If this break is what she needs then she should take that back and return with a bang. In the meantime Iggy can plan her wedding, she recently got engaged to Nick Young.
