Inf Grizzy

Inf Grizzy‘s upcoming project Addicted calls attention to several themes, taking inspiration from his experiences.

In just 17 tracks, the clever wordsmith navigates through love, heartbreak, and other life-changing occurrences. Likewise, the multi-talented rapper points out the lack of variety in the hip-hop scene.

Yet, despite whatever negative outcome arises, the New Jersey artist finds goodness in it, leading to positive results. If individuals couple this with a strong work ethic, they’re more likely to succeed. These beliefs are vocalized at a high frequency by Inf Grizzy in songs like “2 The Bank,” “My Life,” and “$ Da $.”

Throughout Addicted Inf Grizzy does exceptionally well at articulating various emotions through his lyrics. Moreover, Inf channels into an introspective POV, using vulnerability as a musical imperium.

He also bounces from melodic to perceptible flows with ease. Sonically, the project dabbles in different genres like pop, lofi, trap, drill, and hip-hop. Given the lyrical context and deliveries, it’s safe to say the New Jersey resident snapped throughout this record.

Inf hopes the unique blend of sounds resonates with a wide variety of hip-hop fans.

One standout record on Addicted is “Love Is Blind.”

In “Love Is Blind,” the rapper speaks about his love interest’s changed behavior toward him. Her actions have led Inf to believe that she’s being unfaithful. Using a bouncy flow, he spits:

You always going out/Tell me who you leavin’ with/You play me out like half your friends covered up your shit,” he raps.

As the song continues, Inf proclaims that he’s going where he’s celebrated, not tolerated. He opens up about how his lady’s bitterness has put a dent in their relationship. He didn’t expect her to become insensitive toward him.

During the second verse, Inf speaks about the relationship falling apart. The arguments and other harsh actions have prompted him to call it quits. She makes unkept promises. Because of this, he’s ready to end the relationship.

He raps, “Tryna fix something that is broken; it aint workin’.”

Secondly, he raps, “You got me badly deeply in my mind/I’m in my feelings, and I can’t deny.”

On YouTube, a user named Josie Campbell defined the message in “Love Is Blind” to a tee.

She wrote, “Anyone, anywhere, can relate to the debilitating road traveled known as heartbreak. The words in this song flow in perfect sync with the feelings one endures during this painful event.”
