Inside Cardi B and Offset’s New $5.8 Million Mansion

Cardi B revealed at the beginning of November she purchased her dream home with her husband Offset, a home that was later revealed by the New York Post to be located in Tenafly, New Jersey.

In an Instagram post published Nov. 2nd, the Bronx native expressed her excitement at purchasing a 13,000 square foot residence closer to her hometown and extended family.

“I work so hard for my children to be comfortable everywhere they are regardless of work. Me and my husband have always dreamed of having a crib in NY, and we have decided to add to our portfolio of homes, along with Atlanta and LA.” wrote Cardi B, 9-time Grammy nominee, in her caption.

Cardi and Offset closed on the house in late September for a reported $5.85 million. Once renovations are complete, key features of the mansion will include nine bathrooms, nine bedrooms, a saltwater pool, a movie theater, and a tennis court. The couple is reportedly investing over $1 million into the construction of the home.

Property, all around

The purchase of this house comes after the recent gifting of a $1.49 million property in the Dominican Republic for Cardi’s 29th birthday in October. This makes a total of 4 properties in Cardi’s impressive real estate portfolio, counting properties in Atlanta and LA.

“I done bought you everything, so this year I wanted to get you something for having my beautiful son.” Offset said as a virtual tour of the Dominican Republic home played on the big screen. “So I bought you a house in the DR. Yessir, that’s how we coming, pool on the roof. God is good.”

In a celebratory Instagram post shared the following morning, Cardi disclosed her extensive real estate plans. These include investing in “short-term home rental properties in the DR and other Caribbean countries.”

The Tenafly buy also follows the birth of Cardi and Offset’s second child. The baby boy was introduced to the world in an Instagram post shared last September.
