Is There A Secret Frank Ocean Project In The Works?

If there is one thing beyond music that contemporary R&B artist, Frank Ocean, can do, it’s keep a secret…

Frank Ocean reportedly worked on a ‘secret project’ with ‘Call Me By Your Name”s Luca Guadagnino.
The filmmaker has now called on the artist to finish a music video that they were working on.

It was revealed that there is potentially a new project in the works from the artist and his fans are more than ready for it! The project was a collaboration between the genius of Frank Ocean and of director and filmmaker Luca Guadagnino. Guadagnino is an Italian film director, screenwriter and producer who’s 2017 film, Call Me By Your Name has presented him with much acclaim and a series of accolades.

So… you’re probably wondering how we got word of this secret.

A recent article for the New York Times, written by journalist Kyle Buchanan, has featured Guadagnino. In conversation, he mentioned that he and Ocean had gotten together regarding new music and that [they] “were collaborating on a music video that never happened.” Buchanan even took to his own social media by tweeting

No other information regarding the project has been released, so we will continue to play the waiting game with Mr. Ocean until then.

But to Frank Ocean’s defense, this project will be a follow up the last four drops he’s given us post-Blonde, such as “DHL”, “In My Room”, “Dear April” and “Cayendo.”
