Megan Thee Stallion Prioritized Her Education

In 2020, Megan Thee Stallion shared with her fans that she would be graduating in 2021.

In an interview with People magazine, the multi-award-winning rapper also spoke about the motivation behind continuing her education. “I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud. She saw me going to school before she passed away after a battle with brain cancer.” Megan also shared that her grandmother also inspired her to continue her education. “I want my Big Mama to be proud. She saw me going to school before she passed. My grandmother, that’s still alive, used to be a school teacher, so she’s on my butt about finishing school. I’m doing it for me, but I’m also doing it for the women in my family who made me who I am today.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s Plans For The Future.

Megan Thee Stallion has big plans for that degree of hers. During a 2020 interview on ABC talk show with Strahan, Sara, and KeKe, the Hot Girl revealed that she planned to open assisted-living facilities after graduating. “I watched my grandmother take care of my great-grandmother all my life. Just watching these two little old ladies take care of each other, I was like, Y’all need some help. Megan also plans to create a solution to provide opportunities for recent grads to land jobs by opening assisted living facilities. This was a desire of hers long before the pandemic.

Real Hot Girl Sh$t

The Hot Girl is a true inspiration to young women. She’s proven that you can do whatever you want to do if you put your mind to it. Megan Thee Stallion kept her music climbing the charts, stayed focused, and graduated from college during a pandemic. Moreover, she has also managed to join forces with Nike and Coach. And let’s not forget that our girl was honored with the 2021 Glamour Woman Of The Year Award. We here at FM Hip Hop are very proud of Megan Thee Stallion. Congratulations to her and the rest of Texas Southern University’s 2021 class! We wish her the absolute best with all of her future endeavors.
