‘J. Cole Album is Coming’ Says EARTHGANG’s Olu

After two years of helping his Dreamville team get to the top of the game, J. Cole’s sixth studio album gets an update on its status from EARTHGANG member, Olu. While on Instagram Live, the Dreamville artist explained that the project was delayed a little due to Covid-19 stating, “Cole album is coming… It’s in Customs right now. Cole album gotta get through Customs ’cause you know, corona.”

This is most likely true because U.S. Customs and Border Protection slowing down imports coming into the states, with some of these imports being music albums and merchandise. Of coarse most music is bought or downloaded electronically, but it seems that Cole is making sure that everything is perfect when it drops.

J Cole had previously teased the idea of an unreleased project named “The Fall Off” on his latest album KOD. The song “1985 (Intro to The Fall Off)” foreshadows music that he’s working on, and if its anything like the track that announces it, other rappers may have something to worry about. The song features one long, electric verse that targets ‘mumble rappers’ and young faces in Hip Hop.

Olu also had some more exciting news for fans regarding new EARTHGANG singles and a Spillage Village album that is set to come out at the end of July. Corona may have slowed them down, but Dreamville is about to take over your playlists in the near future.
