Jack Harlow On Set For “White Man Can’t Jump”

Jack Harlow nailed his audition for the part of Billy Hoyle in the upcoming reboot “White Men Can’t Jump.” Now he’s ready to show the world what he’s got.

White Men Can’t Jump: The Original

In 1992 Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson, and Rosie Perez bought their “A” games in “White Men Can’t Jump.” At the time, it seemed that the film would be your average drama, especially considering the movies released a year prior “Boyz n da Hood,” “Jungle Fever,” and “New Jack City.” And not to mention other unforgettable films, “Juice” and “Boomerang,” which were released in the same year. At the time, no one would have thought Ron Shelton’s film would have the success it did. However, the film did surprisingly well at the box office and earned the actors a few awards for their outstanding performance.

White Men Can’t Jump Reboot.

Despite the film’s success, no one was quite expecting a reboot. However, Doug Hall and Kenya Barris, the famed creator of “Blackish,” wrote a script, and here we are. According to sources, production is in full swing. And today, TMZ revealed that the filming for “White Man Can’t Jump” is underway, and they have video proof of Harlow on set.

Charismatic Harlow

The world is now waiting to see if the amount of charisma Harlow showed in his audition will translate to screen. Because respectfully, he does have some pretty big shoes to feel as he is reprising a role made famous by Woody Harrelson.

Harlow’s Got Some Support

But while there are no guarantees on whether Harlow will or will not steal the show, it doesn’t hurt that he has some well-known actors as castmates to help round out the project. Sinqua Walls from “Power,” “The Breaks”, and “American Soul” will be filling the shoes of Wesley Snipes. And other members of the cast will reportedly include Teyana Taylor, Lance Riddick, Laura Harrier, and Andrew Schulz.

There is no exact date for release. But at least we know the work has begun. So no worries, FM Hip Hop will drop that info when the date drops.
