Jack Harlow‘s star may be on the rise, but that wasn’t enough for a pair of NBA referees. The Louisville native was in attendance for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics on Sunday. Upon appearing on the jumbotron, mic’d up referees Scott Foster and Ed Malloy seemingly had no idea who Harlow was.

“Who is Jack Harlow?” Foster asked, with Malloy responding “I have no idea.” Foster then pointed out Harlow, saying “He’s the guy over here, right here. He’s in that white shirt, behind you.” “Yeah, who is he?” Malloy replied, to which Foster responded, “I don’t know. Go ask him.”

The clip of the referees went viral, with Jack Harlow catching wind of it on Twitter. The rapper joked about the incident, saying “Clearly these mfs have never seen Narnia.”

The conversation between the referees wasn’t the only incident involving Jack Harlow, however. While sitting courtside, the “Way Out” artist posted a video to his Instagram story. The video shows Harlow messing with buttons on a camera operator’s equipment.

That clip also went viral after Overtime reposted it on Twitter with the caption “Jack Harlow boutta get someone fired.” The camerawoman, Tami Nguyen saw the video and tweeted “Hi @jackharlow you owe me chicken fingers.” Harlow replied, “I got you Tami.”

Jack Harlow and basketball

Harlow is also known for his association with Miami Heat player Tyler Herro. Harlow even paid homage to his friend with a 2020 track bearing his name.

Though, that isn’t the only place where basketball and Jack Harlow intertwine. In addition, the rapper is set to star in the remake of the 1992 basketball film White Men Can’t Jump. After landing the role, NBA superstar Kawhi Leonard teased Harlow by saying he needs to work on his layups.

“He’s the sh*t,” Harlow said about Leonard in a recent interview. “I met him for the first time the other day…Told him about the movie I’m preparing for. He told me I need to get my layup package together because it’s a**.”

Also, Harlow is scheduled to release his new album Come Home The Kids Miss You on Friday. The project contains the hit singles “First Class” and “Nail Tech.”
