In the industry, forming a supergroup could lead to good or bad with various groups like Earthgang, City Girls Wu-Tang Clan, NWA, ATCQ, etc. Some have lived to their supergroup name, but others had a fallout. As for Lucas, it’s been a minute since we’ve heard from him, not since he dropped his album in October. This past weekend through Joyner Lucas posted about forming a supergroup through Facebook, but it has now been deleted since then. Thankfully some people were able to capture it before he deleted the post. With this supergroup, Joyner plans on announcing each member at a time, but first, he introduced Grafh.
With Grafh, which some may not know aside from him briefly being on Love& Hip Hop, he’s the one whos gonna bring the heat. Checking out his freestyle on Hot 97, Grafh can hold his own when spitting bars off the top. From the first-named of the supergroup, Joyner is trying to help bring some artists up in the industry. With the talent of Grafh, this group is looking to show promise based on the rapper’s lyricism and Joyners; it’ll be exciting to see what this future supergroup will be capable of.
Aside from Joyner Lucas forming a supergroup, he was seen in the recent retired rapper Logic comment section. Logic posted to Instagram showing his studio captioned, “Beat Makin’.” Here’s to hoping that with Logic now expanding his creativity through beats, we’ll see him working with Joyner and his new upcoming group.
