The whole conflict started with Drake’s diss on Kanye. On Betrayal feature with Trippie Redd, Drizzy dropped a couple lines about Yeezy; he said, “Ye ain’t changin’ shit for me” and called him “burned out.”
In response, Mr. West send the following text, “I live for this. I’ve been f***ed with by nerd ass jock n***** like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you.”
He then took a screenshot of the group chat, where he left the mentioned message with a Joker picture and posted it on Instagram. Kanye later deleted the post with a screenshot as well.

History of the Conflict
The conflict between Drake and Kanye has been ongoing for years. In May 2018, Drake released Duppy Freestyle, where he claimed he was ghostwriting for Kanye. Drake also blamed Ye for holding Virgil Abloh back and being “sold to college kids for Nike and Mercedes,” while “act like you sold drugs for Escobar in the ’80s.”
In response, Pusha T released The Story Of Adidon, where he revealed Drake has a secret son and shared how he “always felt you [Drake] weren’t black enough.”
Soon, Kanye followed up with the No Mistakes track, where he supposedly dedicated many lines to Drake. A remarkable example would be “Truth told, I like you.”
From that point on, the conflict has relocated chiefly on social media. Artists posted pictures dedicated to each other and tweeted about one another. Apart from that and Kanye’s denial of saying anything about Drake’s child, nothing seemed to go on. Until now.
The conflict renewal has happened in the wake of Kanye’s new album. Two weeks ago, it broke the stream record on Apple Music. You can read about it here.
