Kanye West Files Trademark For New ‘DONDA’ Tech Line. It is set to include gadgets such as audio speakers, tablets, smartwatches, and activity trackers. The rapper turned fashion mogul is set to make his grand entry into the tech industry with this diverse range of products.

‘DONDA’ also includes earbuds, audio headsets, surround systems, and headphones. That’s not all. He’s planning to add even more products to the line, such as jewelry and music and entertainment-related downloadable electronic media. These publications include newsletters, books, magazines, pamphlets, journals, and brochures.

It’s no surprise that the billionaire has his eyes set on the technology industry. The news comes after filing to trademark his name ‘Kanye West’ for a line of homeware. West presented an application under Mascotte Holdings, Inc.,  to trademark ‘Yeezy” with plans to venture into the beauty and skincare industry. The line of products includes body oils, incense, nail polishes, cleansers, deodorants, foundation, to name a few.

West’s album, “DONDA”

Kanye West, also known as Ye, recently released his tenth studio album, “DONDA”. The album is named after his late mother, whose death sent Ye reeling. The project was set for release in June but kept getting pushed forward. He eventually released it on August 29, 2021.  The rapper teased the album for weeks, creating a lot of anticipation. He also organized listening concerts, with one happening at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Another reason behind the delayed-release is that West kept making changes to the track list. “DONDA” cuts across different genres. He borrows influences from gospel, drill, and electropop. It also includes multiple producer credits, including Ye himself. The rapper tackles various issues such as his relationship with his late mother, Donda West. He also touches on his divorce from make-up mogul and reality tv star Kim Kardashian.
