Karreuche Shares Thoughts on Rihanna & Royalty w/ Big Boy in the Morning
Karreuche Tran has been through a lot over the past few months. She’s been in an on again, off again relationship with singer Chris Brown, and is now having to deal with news that Chris has a one year old baby girl by another woman. To make matters worse, Chris’ baby mama, Nia Gomez, also happens to be one of Karreuche’s old partying buddies. That’s a huge load to deal with in the public eye.
Many people have been wondering when Karreuche would finally distance herself from Brown, but after news spread about Chris’ new bundle of joy, all of the speculation was put to rest. Karreuche made the decision to kick Chris to the curb, and move on with her life.
In an interview with Big Boy in the Morning, the socialite revealed that she “cussed [Chris] out” when she found out about his love child.
“Yeah. When it hit TMZ, I was like ‘Oh, okay. Ugh.’ I called him. I cussed him out, and I was like [I’m done]. You know, because after the whole Rihanna thing, it’s been like a year or whatever — we’ve been trying to fix what was broken, and that was just the icing on the cake.”
After sitting down with Iyanla to “Fix Her Life”, Karreuche found the strength she needed to go on without Chris by her side. Although she confessed that she did still love him, she recognized that they both needed healing, and time apart.
“I still love him. I’ve tried to help him. Go to church, pray, yoga, meditate. If he wanted to change, we’d be in a better place. But that’s the problem. He is damaged but… I’m damaged too.”
