Kehlani Takes Aim At Noel Gallagher For Anti-Harry Styles Rant

Kehlani is defending Harry Styles after a scathing critique. This Cali singer-songwriter is showing talented tv stars stick together.

Noel Isn’t A Fan

It’s hard to believe that reality-show competitions used to launch careers in this age of YouTube and TikTok. However, artists like Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, and Harry Styles are living proof. America’s Got Talent alum Kehlani is making a big statement for these often scrutinized musicians.

Former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher had some harsh words for Harry Styles in a recent interview. Styles became an overnight sensation as the most popular One Direction member in 2010. The group made a 6-year career from their X Factor appearance, but Gallagher isn’t so impressed.

“The X Factor is a TV show. It’s got nothing to do with music,” Gallagher said during an interview with The Daily Star. “Anything that has come from that, that’s got nothing to do with music,”

“You’re not telling me Harry Styles is currently in a room somewhere writing a song,” he continued. “With any joy, he’ll be surrounded by a lot of girls.”

He ended the searing rant with another blow. “I can assure you he’s not got an acoustic guitar out trying to write a middle eight for something.” Ouch.

Kehlani to the rescue

Although Styles hasn’t responded, Kehlani is defending Harry. “That person, whoever that is, can kiss my ass,” they reportedly told NME. “They might as well call me inauthentic, and I’m about as authentic as it gets. [Styles] worked his ass off to make people fall in love with him on national TV and be lumped in with a group of boys and still had to stand out from an entire group of people. That’s as authentic as it gets!”

“I’m a Harry Styles fan, clearly, but watching the transformation that he’s taken to find his own songs and his own voice, own persona, own fluidity and image – I think he’s been brave and epic. He’s f*cking tight.”

This week (Apr 29), the West Coast stunner also released their third studio album “Blue Water Road.”
