Second generation celebs Kendall Jenner and Willow Smith morphed from sultry to silly to downright outrageous in a series of snaps posted on GARAGE Magazine’s mobile app. Kendall graces the mag’s October cover, and her #BeCoolBeNice anti-cyberbullying campaign with Willow was the inspiration for the app’s exclusive “Angel/Devil” filters. Users can watch the socialites transform into the campaign’s animated characters— including a dalmatian, bunny, and deer— and taken on the filters for themselves.
“They’re all changing daily, it’s hard to keep up!” Kendall said of the colorful lenses. “The deer is pretty adorable and deer-with-a-friend is GREAT! Also, who doesn’t love the gold butterflies and the fake tan filter— instacute.”
Editor-in-Chief Dasha Zhukova heralded the cover as a natural alliance.
“GARAGE Magazine’s collaboration with Snapchat and Be Cool Be Nice continues our tradition of ground-breaking partnerships that push the boundaries of publishing and technology; fashion and social awareness; premium, luxury content and accessibility,” she said in a statement.
Also included in GARAGE Magazine Issue No. 11 (which hits newsstands on Oct. 1) are an editorial shot by Karl Lagerfeld and an exclusive interview with “Star Wars” director George Lucas.
