Kenny Beats Brings Isaiah Rashad for the First Episode of ‘The Cave’ Season 3

‘The Cave’ is back!

Kenny Beats is one of the most sought out producers in the modern scene.  Not only is he a delight to work with, but he also simply doesn’t miss.  However, Kenny is most known for his YouTube show, ‘The Cave,’ one of the culture’s most fun recent video series.

In this show, Kenny brings in rappers to make a small song.  We see the process of Kenny making a quick but detailed instrumental while the MC pens up a brief verse.   In some of the more exciting episodes, the MC will go in the booth off the dome!  It’s almost always wholesome, with Kenny and his guests having hilarious conversations, smoking weed, and making simply fun music because why not!  Particular highlights from past seasons include Vince Staples, Freddie Gibbs, and a hilarious rap from Zach Fox.  Most famous is the episode with Denzel Curry, inspiring the pair to make the brilliant ‘UNLOCKED‘ together.

The first episode of season 3 just arrived and the featured MC is none other than TDE’s own, Isaiah Rashad.  It’s not unlike Beats to bring in an artist on the brink of an upcoming release and Rashad is set to drop the long overdue, ‘The House is Burning‘ this June.  Suffice it to say, this episode has a fair amount of deserved hype.  The two of them work together seamlessly, with Kenny always bringing it on the boards and Isaiah bringing the bars.  After Zay walked out of the booth, Kenny said how five years ago they couldn’t find one beat they both liked and now they can make a song instantly!

Based on this episode, it looks like we have a great season of ‘The Cave’ ahead.  Even more exciting is that Rashad sounds like he’s in his element.  As a TDE favorite, fans have been thirsting for his follow-up to 2016’s ‘The Sun’s Tirade.’  While his latest lead single, ‘Lay With Ya’ got somewhat mixed reviews, he proves in this episode that he’s still got it.  With five years in the making, there’s little reason to doubt.  Let’s hope that Kenny assists with some of the production on this LP because now we know that they’re a perfect match.

Looks like we really have a Hip-Hop summer ahead!  With Isaiah Rashad spearheading the summer’s most anticipated releases and Kenny Beats releasing ‘The Cave’ throughout, we’re gonna have enough content to keep us occupied.  Watch this episode of ‘The Cave’ right here!
