Myspace is an old part of the internet. As such, many people think back to it with nostalgia. One such person is Kid Cudi, who took a look at his old bio, proud of completing his goals of yesteryear. He had stated two goals within the bio: taking music to the next level and obtaining a Grammy.

Myspace is one of the original social media sites, competing with Facebook from 2006 to 2009. Sam Spratt, the cover artist of Man on the Moon III: The Chosen One, showed Kid Cudi’s bio to him during fan interactions Sunday night.

Kid Cudi obtained a Grammy in 2011 for his song “All Of The Lights”. He also had three nominations in 2009.

Cudi changed Hip Hop and the world around him. His music inspires other artists to explore a wider array of emotions due to its unique combination of psychedelic, R&B, and Hip Hop genres. He regularly does philanthropic work. Cudi is also constantly working on making the music industry more inclusive. This is all a part of “takin’ hip hop or music n general 2 a whole nother level.”

Where Kid Cudi was …

The fact that he was able to predict two stellar achievements is amazing. When Cudi wrote that bio in 2006, he was still a nobody. This was before Day ‘N’ Night and his rise to fame. Cudi was sharing an apartment with Dot Da Genius in Brooklyn. He left his old home in Cleveland for New York City with only $500 just the previous year in hopes of making it big. He only just met his future mentor, Kanye West. It is crazy how much life can change in 15 years if one works for it.

Justin Acosta lives in Barstow, California. He recently graduated from University of California Davis and is excited to have a job and prove himself. He has a speech impediment, but he is not going to let that slow him down.
