Kid Cudi is all smiles today as the masses react to his single “Day ‘n’ Nite” being used for the trailer one of Marvel’s upcoming releases, Moon Knight. Cudi could hardly contain his excitement and lit up social media with his reaction.

“Yeaaaaa baby!!! Check out Day n Nite in the new MoonKnight trailer! Sickkkk,”

A source indicates a sneak peek of the upcoming film released yesterday during the NFL game between the Rams and Cardinals. So naturally, the viewers ate it up! One fan said,

“The Moon Knight trailer using Kid Cudi’s Day ‘N’ Night is how I just KNOW this show is going to be a serve omg.”

And we could not agree more.

The Rise of “Day ‘n’ Nite”

In 2008, the Kid put out “Day ‘n’ Nite“. The single quickly rose to No. 1 on Billboard. Since then, the album has sold more than 2,000,000 copies. To the artist’s credit, not only has he worked with Kanye West as part of the supergroup Kids See Ghosts , but he also had the privilege to work with Jay-Z on one of his hottest albums, The Blueprint 3. As we know, greatness always inspires greatness.

Not Cudi’s First Rodeo

Moon Knight will not be the first soundtrack project Cudi has had involvement with. According to a source, Kid Cudi also did some soundtrack work for Need for Speed and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Most recently, Cudi teamed up with Jay-Z for The Harder They Fall‘s “Guns Go Bang”, as well as Ariana Grande’s “Just Look Up” in Don’t Look Up. Now he is the recipient of the privilege of having his music underscore the introduction of a Marvel project. And he is more than grateful. His fans are pleased as well. As one fan stated,

“I would like to commend whatever intern convinced marvel to use a kid cudi ‘day n nite’ edit to soundtrack a trailer in 2022!”

MoonKnight

MoonKnight is slated to premiere on Disney+ in March. The cast includes Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac and the Oscar-nominated Ethan Hawke.

Congratulations to Cudi for landing such a legendary opportunity. Projects like this reflect the magic and reach of hip-hop music.
