#FMSpotlight: Kris Hollis – “Still” (Watch)

Watch: Kris Hollis – “Still”

Kris Hollis proves that he’s a heavy romantic in his latest song, “Still.” The ambient R&B offering with lively arrangements is a ballad for a misses who “ups that heart rate.” Despite his burgeoning career, Kris Hollis says that he stays true to himself, which is more of a reason to date him. Also, if she’s not willing to give their relationship a go, he can’t promise that he’ll stay around. Tapping into a translucent register, the singer explains why they should be together. He assures his potential boo that he doesn’t plan on hurting her.

He sings, “You ain’t in here by mistake/I’m gon stunt each and every day.”

Then, Kris Hollis lists what he likes about her. This lady’s good looks surely have captivated him. If she gives him a chance, he promises to spoil her and tend to her soul.

Shawty, you hot like mid-July in June/But I got ice, and I just put it on you.

Before closing the song, he speaks more about what he likes about her. Subsequently, he expresses what the two could do together. All the negative talk comes from haters who just want her for themselves.
