Latto’s new album 777, featuring Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and more, has finally arrived.

The star-studded album, which dropped at midnight on Mar. 25, has 13 songs, including Latto’s latest track, “Wheelie.” The song debuted on Mar. 11 with an accompanying video and has garnered over two million views thus far.

It’s been a long time coming for the Georgia rapper, who first appeared on season one of Lifetime’s The Rap Game in 2016. The bright-eyed musician made her mark on the show with her hard-hitting lyricism and uber-cute style. While most music reality series contestants rarely make it to become big stars, she proved the world wrong. A fellow successful rapper, Brooklyn-born J.I. The Prince Of NY also appeared on The Rap Game, but he had done so in the second season.

777 has been the second album Latto released since her first, titled Queen Of Da Souf, in 2020. The first one spawned multiple hits, including “B***h From Da Souf,” “Muwop,” “In n Out,” “On God,” and “Sex Lies.” Her hit song “Big Energy,” which came out in 2021, has appeared on her second.

Latto Joined Many Podcasts and Radio Shows

During her recent press run for 777, she stopped by several popular podcasts and radio shows, including The Joe Budden Podcast, Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, and Hot 97’s Nessa On Air. During Latto’s run, she discussed a multitude of topics and dropped a fire freestyle. One particular issue struck a chord with fans: her thoughts on how the music business treats women.

“I’m a new female rapper in the game. I wish somebody [had given] me some insight [into] how this thing really go. Some people say, ‘Oh, female rappers have it harder,’ but I wanted to give a little insight as to what specifically makes it harder for a female rapper in the industry,” she told The Breakfast Club‘s Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God, and DJ Envy during her interview on Mar. 23.

Her comments were about a recent incident she revealed, where a male artist requested sex from her in exchange for a verse clearance.

Despite the drama, Latto’s 777 is here, and we couldn’t be more excited. More features on the album include Nardo Wick, Childish Gambino, and Lil Wayne. Congratulations to Big Latto!
