Lil Durk Celebrates His Metaverse Takeover With NXTG3NZ
Lil Durk celebrated his arrival into the cryptocurrency metaverse. He held a party with fans on March 15 in New York’s Time Square. Reportedly, the rapper announced the business venture via Instagram earlier this month.
The metaverse is now famous and lucrative industry. The custom outfits and gaming skins for avatars are now at the cost of $40 billion. It also projects to grow at $265.4 billion by 2026. Co-founded by Lil Durk, Satoshi Designs, and also Nexus, the NXTG3NZ digital wearables are set to change the footwear metagame.
The Lil Durk’s Rise
This is another win for Lil Durk, as he is already hot in demand in the music industry. The artist also tied Taylor Swift with the most Billboard Hot 100 hits of 2021. He now has 41 songs on the chart, including eight Top 40 hits.
The first launch of the “7220” sneaker collection will have 10,000 tokens in total and be used on Avatars across the digital realm while still having ownership in the physical. Owning a “7220” NXTG3NZ NFT will also come with exclusive member benefits, including a chance to win 1 of 10 physical pairs.
The legendary Devonte’ Black’ Young designed NXTG3NZ. Devonte is most notable for his streetwear brand Enspire and also collaboration with Nike as lead designer of 3 pairs of sneakers for his friend, basketball star Kevin Durant. Included in Lil Durk’s “7220” NXTG3NZ, Genesis token holders will get an opportunity to design a pair of sneakers with Devonte and the NFT’s elite creative team.
