Lil Durk has suffered losses over the years but in November of 2020, his biggest loss is King Von. King Von, while in Atlanta, was murdered during an altercation with Quando Rondo’s crew. Lil Durk, now with a change of heart, pledges to stop name-dropping the dead.

Before The Voice Deluxe’s release, Durk looks forward to the stop of name-dropping of the dead, but only in his music. With his stop of speaking ill of the dead, it doesn’t prevent him from speaking about the dead outside of his music. He could be mixing things up based on the recent court move to using rappers’ lyrics as evidence against them.

Hard to say when Lil Durk does release his deluxe, will it include any more name drops, or will he have edited it all out? For now, we wait and see. LD recently name-dropped late FBG Duck last December, which quickly spread around social media. It even led to FGB Ducks mother to respond. Speculations have been thrown around that Lil Durk uses King Vons’ name to increase his album sales.

It’s hard to say what any person’s intentions are, but it can go either way when it comes to a clash between gangs and music. Hopes for the rapper to turn a new leaf and see the problem we face shouldn’t be between one another and address the problem that divides each other.
