Lil’ Kim wants to go against Nicki Minaj on Verzuz 

The rapper said she wants to do a Verzuz battle against Nicki Minaj

During a pre-show of BET Awards, 2021, Lil’ Kim told the press she would go against Nicki Minaj on Verzuz. In a short interview, she said she would perform at Verzuz. Later, answering to “Is there anybody that you’d do it against?” Lil’ Kim expressed her interest in battling Nicki Minaj. 

Both rappers had beef back in the day, which had started with Nicki allegedly copying Kim’s album cover. Back then, the beef ended on a salty note, with Lil Kim saying that amends between artists “will never happen.” Later, however, Nicki expressed her interest in coming to peace. However, it was ruined on the ‘Flawless’ remix by Nicki calling herself a “rap queen” and Lil Kim adding another verse. Check Nicki’s version on Spotify/Apple Music and Lil’ Kim’s on YouTube. 

Verzuz is a webcast series started by Timbaland and Swiss Beats. Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, Verzuz started on Instagram Live as a virtual DJ battle. Right now, it books actual halls and recently had a battle between Soulja Boy and Bow Wow.
