Lil Nas X “Industry Baby”

After the release of his new NSFW video produced by Ye, the 22-year-old rapper got many criticisms from critics, saying the song is demonic. He once again sparks controversial topics and people attacking him for the visuals in his music. “Industry Baby” is Nas’s third number one after “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus and “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” Haren Mamo, a writer for Billboard, claims “Industry Baby” hits No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Oct. 23), as it drew 64 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 10%) and 23.2 million U.S. streams (down 1%) and sold 34,300 downloads (soaring 564%) in the week ending Oct. 14, according to MRC Data.”

Most importantly, while people were hating on his song and causing problems, many fans enjoyed the music and its message. The song deserves to be on the 100 lists because Nas is a talented rapper living his truth and sharing himself with the world. A world that is still having a hard time accepting him and continuing to judge him.

Nas and Harlow sing about how their time is coming and claim their champions. In the case of few months, their music did just that and won a lead in the 100 lists. Nas verse from his song: “Need, uh, need to get this album out. Need a couple number ones.” The rapper manifests his number one on Billboard.

Moreover, his talents have won him those three awards because of how much work he puts into them. He never fails to impress his fans with his creativity in his videos. Nor does he forget to keep his haters impressed because they always have something negative to say.
