Not everything is coming up roses for hip hop artist Lil Pump. According to recent news coverage, Lil Pump is in danger of losing his 15-million-dollar mansion.
And for what reason? Well, his debt to good old Uncle Sam.
Is Lil Pump in too Deep?
It seems like indebtedness is a normal thing for Pump. Reportedly, the rapper was previously sued by American Express over a $26,000 bill he had racked up.
And that’s not chump change. If that isn’t enough, Lil Pump reportedly also had a tax lien for $89,000.
So, what is the artist doing about this? Supposedly, he’s not doing much of anything.
Supposedly he isn’t doing anything. And now, sources report he’s under threat of losing his home due to failure to pay a tax payment worth nearly 1.7 million dollars. Documents state Pump’s pricey property will be seized if he fails to pay the fine.
Ain’t Nothing but a Thing
Before being hit with the latest debt, Pump seemed chill on the subject. In fact, after receiving the news of the $89,000 lien, Pump reportedly had this to day,
“90k ain’t s*** to me.”
However, there is no current word on his response to the possibility of losing his home.
Lil Pump’s Come Up
Lil Pump has been in the spotlight since 2016, when he arrived with Sound Cloud release Lil Pump featuring the addictive hit track “Gucci Gang.” A year later, he was a signed artist, and he’s continued his grind in the music industry. In fact, according to celebritynetworth.com, the artist holds a net worth of $8 million, which he received as an advance upon signing.
But according to the same source,
“An $8 million advance means Pump can’t earn any more money until his advance is paid back.”
What Does it All Mean?
So given the details, it’s not hard to see that amassing large amounts of debt is not exactly a smart thing.
No one wants young talent to go to waste. And it would be a shame to see Lil Pump homeless. So, hopefully, he can resolve some of his debt soon.
