How soon we forget the last two words any rapper EVER wants to hear at the end of their career; MC HAMMER! Nowadays, to keep up with the Joneses, you need to keep up with an even heftier receipt. And in Lil’ Yachty’s case, he has about $52,000 worth of them.
The 23-year-old Georgia native recently shared in an interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game, episode 105, that his monthly expenses due to his lifestyle are about $52,000 per month. The rapper said, “Every month, I got $52,000 in bills. Monthly, you know what I’m saying?!” He went on to say that despite his bills alone, he still “likes to live”
The rapper told host Gillie Da King and Wallo267, “I’m still a rapper. I still wanna go to nice dinners, fly my girl out, go to see my girl, we still wanna do all these things.”
Even though he understands the cost to be the boss, Sir Yachty is determined not to follow in the steps of said predecessors. He seems to have some financial literacy when it comes to overhead and budgeting. Telling the duo, “Let’s say I got $13 million in the bank, right? If my overhead is $52,000 every month ’cause of my houses, and my staff, and cars, and insurance and all these things I take care of and all these people, that $13 [million] will run down. Because that’s just the bills.”
Lil Yachty may have a long, prosperous career ahead of him. But regardless of his future, he’s at least living his best present.
