Logic may have announced his retirement from music, but it seems he is making his big comeback!

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Logic shared a clip of his new track on Instagram which appears on his new album, Vinyl Days. The artist rapped on JAY-Z’s microphone, “This is JAY-Z‘s microphone,” he said as he showed off the piece of equipment. “No I.D. gave it to me.” The video was taken in his home while creating beats for the upcoming mixtape. At the end of one of the videos, the rapper is seen greeting many people coming into the studio. One of the guests widely known as 6ix, a recent collaborator of his.

As Logic reveals his new album, Hypebeast reports Vinyl Days would become the rapper’s 7th studio album.

“From dawn to dusk/ Hit the homie Mac Demarco like, ‘What up, my man?’/ I need some raw shit,” He raps in a second video. In his home, you can see guitars and other various objects while the film, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi plays on TV.

Logics last album was released in 2020 which was called No Pressure, as it was designed to be his last album in which he had plans upon retiring.  Through the year 2021, he proved his plans were out the window when he dropped a few more songs.  His singles included “Tired In Malibu,” “No Vaccine,” and “My Way.” He even released three songs with Madlib.

FM Hip Hop reports his hit single “1-800-273-8255” was proven by studies to save lives. Logic stated, “To know my music was actually affecting people’s lives is what inspired me to make the song…And the fact it did, blows my mind.” Seems like the rapper was meant to stay in the industry after all. As of right now, it is unclear when he will be dropping his new album. Make sure to follow FM Hip Hop for more updates on the artist.
