“MC Kevin” Dead At 23

Funk Artist, MC Kevin died after falling from fifth-story hotel room.

Brazilian rapper MC Kevin died Sunday after falling from a fifth-story hotel room balcony in an odd escape plan. Amid a ménage à trois, the 23-year-old musician attempted to flee onto the balcony below to avoid being caught by his wife. Kevin lost his footing and ultimately plummeted to the ground floor. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to sources the alleged threesome included MC Kevin, a male friend and a model named Bianca Domingues. The artist’s wife, Deolane Bezerra – whom he married just weeks ago in Tulum, Mexico – took to Instagram proceeding the events.

“You left and took a piece of me with you,” Bezerra said. “You were always so incredible. It’s not fair for you to leave like this. It’s not, it’s not.”

MC Kevin had a surefire career ahead of him. Along with some 1.8 million monthly Spotify listeners, his more than 10 million Instagram followers continue to grow. The late up and comer’s latest release, Fénix, from earlier this year has received favorable reviews and will likely see a boost in downloads, given the tragic events.

According to the autopsy report, Kevin suffered multiple injuries from the fall and ultimately succumbed to them. All in all, the autopsy concludes that the rapper died from a traumatic brain injury. Our thoughts and prayers go out to this young man’s friends and family.
