Meek Mill Pisses Off the Internet with Kobe Bryant Lyric in Lil’ Baby Song

Damnit, Meek!

It seems Mercury can’t stop retrograding for Meek Mill fast enough. Simultaneously, many of us were commending him for his reaction to his little weekend run-in with him in the technicolor lace-front. The universe was aligning for Meek to voluntarily throw himself back into the frying pan with this week’s antics.

After a snippet of Meek featuring on a Lil’ Baby song that originally leaked sometime last year and somehow re-emerged yesterday, it re-ignited trolling memes and calls for “cancellation”. The lyrics that have everyone up in arms are; “and if I ever lack, I’m going out with my Chopper, it be another Kobe.” As distasteful as the lyrics are, combine them with the fact that it’s merely weeks after the 1st year anniversary of the horrific crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and the seven other people.  The leaking of Meek Mill’s verse coming out during Black History Month was a recipe for disaster. Instead of apologizing or acknowledging the public outrage, Meek seems to double down and chose to be oblivious to his actions with the following tweets:
