Meek Mill; Please Put Your Phone Down

Published

on

Wasn’t it just January 26th that Meek Mill mysteriously deleted both his Instagram and Twitter pages? Fans assumed new music was coming, but clearly, that wasn’t the case. Obviously, his hiatus was short-lived, and Meek’s “Twitter Fingers” continue to do him a disservice. As I previously reported; in my previous article Meek Mill has been making his rounds in a negative way across social media, and quite frankly, we just want him to put his phone down.

In response to Meek’s gross lyrics, Vanessa had a few words to give:

“I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this.”- Vanessa Bryant.

This woman and her family have been through enough. On the anniversary of the crash, she asked media and fans not to post images and previously made her IG page private so people wouldn’t constantly remind her of the trauma she was trying to heal from. So imagine the family having to deal with the anniversary and then having to publicly relive it because a well-known rapper decided it was ok to toss her husband’s name into a song in this manner.
You would think Sir Meek would chill, but no! Meek tweets the following:

Mr. Mill, sir, did you think about their family as you wrote that line? Did you think of the hurt it would cause that grieving family as you RECORDED the verse? Did you think at all?? The answer is no, so you do not get to take the moral high ground and tell US to think of them when you created this metaphoric dumpster fire. Please, put your phone down. Let this simmer before throwing your hat back in the ring for another round.
