ToBi has enlisted Mick Jenkins to spit a few bars on their single, “Off the Drugs.” The song will hit streaming platforms tomorrow. While it’s uncertain when the collaboration commenced, fans are excited about the new track.
Taking the announcement to Twitter, he penned
“Me and @mickjenkins got one. ‘Off The Drugs’ this Wednesday.”
Last month, Mick Jenkins was in the studio creating new music. Around the 23rd, he dropped a short video of himself rapping. “It was Goyard totes and Carhartt Tees,” he spits.
“The Coldplay carpet round my feet / the Dolce scarf is round my face, forgot my mask–”
Towards the end, he lets out the f word in an exasperated fashion.
The song in question happens to be “Truffles,” which received a slew of fire emojis and praise.
Also, the Chicago native has verses on other tracks like “SUPER8” with CANCEL CULTURE and Meltycanon, “Kill Me” with Daichi Yamamoto, “Teriyaki” with Nate Husser, “Sleep” with Markis Precise, “Don’t Need You (Remix)” with Genesis Owusu, and “royal flush” with LOONY.
Given these points, Mick Jenkins is up for a prosperous time in music all year round.
