Miss Zimbabwe Emily Kachote Dethroned Over Leaked Nude Photos
Miss World Zimbabwe, Emily Kachote, has been stripped of her crown after she admitted to posing for nude photos. The scandolous images of Kachote surfaced last month which shows her drunk and naked. The Miss Zambabwe executive board released a statement saying Kachote had violated the rules and regulations.
“The Miss Zimbabwe executive board would like to inform the nation that it has resolved to dethrone Miss Emily Kachote as Miss World Zimbabwe 2015. Early this month one of the local tabloids carried a story that alleged that Miss Emily Kachote’s nude photos had appeared on a WhatsApp group,”
the Miss Zimbabwe executive board said in a statement.
This report came shortly after Miss Emily had confessed that she had once posed nude. This was in violation of the rules and regulations governing the Trust which all the contestants appended their signatures to.”
This isn’t the first time there’s been a leaked nude scandal in the Miss World Zimbabwe Trust. Last year, the 2014 Miss World Zimbabwe, Thabiso Phiri, was also involved in a nude photo scandal. During that time the board insisted that Phiri resign from the position, which she did, despite the claims never being proven true.
