Morgan Freeman Granddaughter Stabbed To Death In Harlem

Morgan Freeman granddaughter, E’ Dena Hines, has been stabbed to death, allegedly by her boyfriend.  According to CNN, Freeman made a statement about the loss of his step-granddaughter saying,

“The world will never know her artistry and talent, and how much she had to offer. Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.”

Police responded to a call in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan around 3:00a.m. Sunday morning and found Hines lying dead on the street with multiple stab wounds located on her upper body. Police have charged Lamar Davenport, Hines boyfriend, with the murder and is being evaluated at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation.
