DaBaby and NBA YoungBoy are releasing an entire collab album together. This has come from multiple singles that they have done together over the past year.
In 2019, DaBaby named YoungBoy as one of his favorite rappers, when asked about it on the Rap Pack Podcast. “I know he don’t get the credit he deserves for his music because of the stigma that’s around him. I just listened to his last project and he’s like crazy talented.”
They are not just releasing another album, but there are also rumors that they are going to release one more single, “Neighborhood Superstar”, before the album, if there is not going to be more.
Since YoungBoy is on house arrest, he has plenty of time to spend in the studio. Yesterday, he even released an on-the-spot diss track to Lil Durk titled “I Hate Youngboy”. The reason for it is because Lil Durk had released the song “AHHH HA”, which was a song mostly aimed at him. YoungBoy released it hours after Lil Durk’s song came live.
“Don’t know nothin’ but slang iron, ain’t respondin’ no more/I just wanna make the bitch go, he way from the go (Ha-ha)/You know where I stay, don’t let me find your home (Don’t let me find you, fuck you)” Youngboy rapped to Lil Durk.
NbA YoungBoy and DaBaby’s friendship
The reason why DaBaby and NBA YoungBoy work so well together is that they are both not well-liked in the community. DaBaby’s homophobia has caused him many issues with his fans in the past. YoungBoy’s troubles with the law also make him not very popular. They sort of found each other through their low reputation. Their album is going to be titled “Better Than You”. It is going to be released on March 4 on all streaming platforms.
