NBA YoungBoy’s lawyers claim that police did not have a definitive search warrant. They claim that the law enforcers used personal footage on his photographer’s computer. The police seized Marvin Ramsey’s Macbook, using the evidence to form a case against YoungBoy and later arrest him.

According to an interview by Rolling Stone, the lawyers claim that the officers used the warrant as a blank check, acting however they saw fit. The rapper was put under house arrest in Layton, Utah after a judge granted him bail at $1.5 million. The rapper was also found in possession of a Masterpiece Arms 9mm along with a .45 Glock model pistol in September 2022.

NBA YoungBoy, also known as Kentrell Gaulden, has other charges against him. He was arrested by Los Angeles authorities. After being stopped by the officials, Mr. YoungBoy reportedly engaged the LA officials in hot pursuit. Authorities recovered a firearm from his vehicle, although they couldn’t prove it was his at the time.

They managed to track him down thanks to a K-9 unit. The rapper was given a choice to pay the bail or a $500,000 bond. He is also mandated to wear an ankle monitor and compulsory drug tests.

NBA YoungBoy Album “Sincerely Kentrell”

NBA YoungBoy released “Sincerely Kentrell,” his third studio album, in September of 2021. The project doesn’t feature any guest appearances and had five singles leading up to it: “Toxic Punk,” “Life Support,” “On My Side,” White Teeth,” and “Nevada.”

The album hit number one on Billboards’ US 200 chart, at 137,000 units. It cemented NBA YoungBoy’s position as the third rapper to have a number one album while in prison. “Sincerely Kentrell” is his fourth album on the US Billboard 200 chart.
