YoungBoy Never Broke Again now has an empty YouTube channel.

Last Saturday, without so much as an announcement, all the videos on the 22 year-old rapper’s page disappeared. Indeed, no statement has yet come from YouTube, or YoungBoy himself.

Though boasting some ten million subscribers, the YouTube page is now nonetheless devoid of videos. In addition to this, total view count for the videos added up to over nine billion. What’s more, the Louisiana rapper is one of the most-streamed hip hop artists on YouTube, just behind Drake and Juice WRLD.

The Streaming Graveyard

It is not uncommon for artists to be removed from streaming services. Back in August, legendary rapper Fat Joe’s What Would Big Do 2021disappeared from streaming sites. Rappers like Boosie Badazz, Azelia Banks, and Lil Reese have all had content removed. However, these were due to controversies and various social cancellations. So far as anyone can tell, YoungBoy’s content was simply taken down without comment. The account itself was a major money-maker for NBA, so it seems unlikely that he would have removed his own videos.

YoungBoy in Autumn

Prior to this, November had been a good month for YoungBoy. He put out a compilation album entitled Never Broke Again: The Compilation, Vol. 1, featuring rappers like Meechy Baby and P Yungin. And just last week, he released a new single, “Safe Then Sorry (Interlude)”, which had already racked up a million views on YouTube at the time of removal.

Last month, the “Bandit” rapper was released from prison, following him posting $1.5 million in bail, relocating from Louisiana to Utah. He remains under house arrest in Utah, facing numerous federal weapons and drug charges stemming from an incident in Los Angeles, California earlier this year.
