Nepal Has a Second Earthquake 2 Weeks Later
On Tuesday, May 12th, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook throughout Nepal. According to CNN.com, at least 50 people have died and more than a thousand have been injured. Many houses are damaged and many buildings have collapsed due to aftershock.
Paul Dillon, a spokesperson for the International Organization for Migration tells CNN, ” You never get used to seeing telephone poles swaying and surfing past you or buildings just wobbling…as the earth moves beneath your feet.”
Just two weeks prior on April 25th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake entered and nearly thousands died. We continue to pray for Nepal and the citizens in the country.
