Netflix has won streaming rights to  new STYX film,

“Fast & Loose” starring  Big Will.

This behemoth of a movie was up for bid, with many major outlets attempting to get rights to the film. Sources report Sony, Paramount, Warner Bros., and MGM were part of the bidding process. But Netflix won the bid. This film seems to land squarely in Smith’s wheelhouse. Reportedly, the film centers around a man who learns he has a duplicitous life.  After an incident in Tijuana, the main character (played by Will) works to uncover who he is. What he discovers is pretty startling. He is not only a CIA agent but also a Kingpin.

Without a doubt, Mr. July (Big Will) is one of the hardest-working men in Hollywood.

For most in the know, it’s not a secret that both Will and Jada are owners of Westbrook Studios. And that they have been without a doubt on the grind big time. There is presently a lot of projects in the works for Westbrook Studios. Three of those film projects include a remake of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Emancipation, and King Richard. And that is just a partial list. As anyone can see, this is a pretty massive schedule. One thing is clear; the Smiths have their work cut out for them.

Mr. July (Big Will)  is not the only one busy with various projects.

The director of Fast & Loose is reported to be David Leitch, director of “A-listers.” His impressive roster includes Ryan Reynolds, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, and now Will Smith. But not only is Leitch working on “Fast & Loose,” but Bullet Train, an action thriller noted to feature Pitt and Lady Gaga.

Nevertheless, with such an impressive director and star, this feature seems extremely promising.

However, there is currently no streaming date for Fast & Loose. But we’ll keep our eye open for more details. Until then, you can catch Smith in his documentary Amend: The Fight for America, which began streaming on Netflix in February of this year.
