JID, the Dreamville and Interscope artist, released his new freestyle 29 on June 13. In response, fans went crazy over the rapper’s flow, lyrics, and style.
The rapper and also a member of Spillage Village and hip hop group Zoink Gang first appeared on the scene in 2012. He then released several independent projects like “Route of Evil,” “Para Tu,” and “DiCaprio.”
In 2017, JID’s premiere studio album “The Never Ending Story” was released.
In 2018 “DiCaprio 2” came out and included a song with J. Cole. JID received acclamations from critics and fans alike.
In 2021 he was featured on the track “Enemy” with Imagine Dragons. The song quickly climbed the charts and landed at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In January 2021, JID announced that the third studio album titled “The Forever Story” was in the works.
On January 14, 2022, fans finally got a peek into the new album. Because of the first single release. But there hasn’t been much activity with the project since. Until recently.

JID went on Twitter on June 13 saying “it might be a lot to digest but it’s fresh, unmatched this time around.” He was referring to the new freestyle and video he released that night.

Immediately, fans took to Twitter and YouTube, expressing their support and excitement for his new music in the comments. “You in ya own lane,” “JID bouta drop some absolute heat,” and “this man’s flow is one of a kind.
The evolution of JID’s sound, bars, and lyrics is undeniable. However, the artist does not receive the recognition he deserves. His beats seem to be getting more complex, but the rapper continues to flow over them effortlessly. Even over an instrumental, that seems to be “wonky,” this new JID freestyle is fire. And fans are anxiously awaiting “The Forever Story” drop.
