New Music: Drake Scary Hours II

Earlier this week, DJ Akademiks took to Twitter saying we would get new music soon and Certified Lover Boy would drop before or no later than April. This was following the leaks of “What a Time to be a Slime” and “What’s Next.”

Akademiks also confirmed a music video is coming soon after fans spotted Drake shooting a video in Toronto. CLB was projected to drop in January but was pushed back indefinitely as Drake recovers from knee surgery.

Early this morning, Drake announced he is dropping new music on Friday at midnight! On Instagram, he posted the cover art for “Scary Hours II.” The first “Scary Hours” dropped in 2018 after “Views” (2016) and the “More Life” mixtape (2017). The 8-minute ep featured “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.” He went on to drop “Scorpion” a few months later. Maybe CLB is not too far behind.
