Nick Cannon today announced he is expecting a child with Bre Tiesi. This news, while indeed celebratory, is shocking to many of Cannon’s fans.
Painful Loss
Over a month ago, Nick Cannon painfully broke the news that he had lost his son Zen to brain cancer. The entire world then wept with Nick as he mourned openly. Many did not know the TV personality, and Bre Tiesi also expected a child. According to Cannon, the news of Zen’s passing and the knowledge of the coming birth of his expectant child left him in turmoil. Out of respect for the beautiful son he lost and his mother, he was then unsure of the appropriate time to break the news. In Cannon’s words,
“This was always in the back of my mind, like, ‘What is the right time? How do I share this? “he said on his talk show.”
Nick Cannon’s Request To Bre Tiesi
Cannon, who at the time struggled, requested that Tiesi also hold on to the news out of respect for Alyssa Scott Zen’s mother. And according to a source, Tiesi, the model/ expectant mother kept her word.”
“I wanted to definitely respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough – she held off making our announcements and speaking on social media.”
Cannon Breaks the News
Today the “Wild ‘N Out” star has broken the news, and he’s all smiles. Cannon also posted a video on Instagram of a segment from his show. The picture of the day on the TV show was of him and Bre Tiesi at their baby shower. As he beams at the photo, he then reveals his baby will be a boy.
It is said time heals all wounds. So here is to hope that Alyssa and Nick are finding peace on their journey to healing. We also want to congratulate Nick on the upcoming birth, his 8th born.
