It’s Confirmed: Nicki Will Appear on Barbershop 3!
Nicki Minaj continues her acting career with making her way back to the big screens, it has been confirmed that she is joining the cast of the upcoming movie “Barbershop 3”. The Queens rapper will be playing a feisty hair dresser on the beauty side of the barbershop named Draya, who character will be an employee of Regina Hall.
O.G “Barbershop” (2002) and “Barbershop 2: “Back in Business” (2004) grossed over $140 million worldwide. Ice Cube, Eve, and Cedric the Entertainer who been in it since the beginning will continue on in Barbershop 3 alongside new cast members like Regina Hall, Common, and more to be announced. Malcolm D. Lee will be working with the film, he is the third director that will be handling the movie franchise.
Nicki Minaj has also made her debut in the movie “The Other Woman” last year, she played the assistant to Cameron Diaz.
