The ‘Seeing Green’ artist made waves on social media last year (May. 14) when she dropped her remastered mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty. Now, after smashing records with the highest debut of a female rap mixtape in Billboard history, Nicki Minaj is back with a vengeance. Her new single ‘Do We Have a Problem’ is dropping in 4 short days. Unexpectedly, Nicki also dropped a sneak peek trailer with a star-studded cast on Instagram. Take a look below:
The 35-second clip showcases Nicki’s acting chops as she recreates scenes from the 2010 action movie Salt. Also seen is Power star Joseph Sikora playing a detective, opposite his drug lord role on the hit Starz show. Cory Hardrict also makes an appearance as the suspect in custody of Nicki and Sikora. The video was directed by Benny Boom, the mind behind films like All Eyez On Me and Next Day Air.
Another hit from Nicki and Lil Baby?
At the end of Nicki Minaj’s trailer, a small portion of Lil Baby’s verse appears in the background. Right before dropping the trailer, Nicki posted a video to her Instagram showing appreciation to the Atlanta rapper. “I wanna thank Lil Baby for being just dope, super talented,” Minaj expressed.
‘Do We Have a Problem’ is the first and leading single for Nicki’s highly anticipated fifth studio album. While we haven’t gotten much info on the Nicki Minaj’s and Lil Baby’s feature, the “Barbz” are already showing excitement for this new era.

“They’ve been just very supportive with this whole situation, and I appreciate that,” she said, referring to Lil Baby and also CEO of Quality Control Music Pierre “Pee” Thomas. In addition to singing Lil Baby’s praises, Nicki Minaj hyped up her fans with a potential second collab. “We ended up doing another song. But then when we did the other song, it ended up growing on us.”
“So what I would say is you guys might be in for a real special treat.” She teased.
