Nicki Minaj will not appear at MTV Video Music Awards. Nicki confirmed her exit on Twitter by saying, “I just pulled out. I’ll explain why another day.”
Nicki’s response about the MTV VMAs was part of her Twitter Q&A session. Anyone could ask the artist a question by posting a Tweet with the #BarBIA hashtag. Among other responses, Nicki revealed that “It’s possible” more features are to come this year. Nicki also shared lessons she learned from her 11-month old son and promised to share “… that Keke vocals” once she’s done with the Q&A.
Nicki might possibly be referencing a recent tweet, which featured her vocals for an upcoming project. In the post, Minaj asked fans to reach out to Summer Walker, Jhené Aiko, and Kehlani. The reason would be Nicki’s vision of her singing–Minaj wants to sound like the aforementioned artists. Nicki also promised to “put Smthn special,” once she gets the vocals from the R&B singers.
Nicki Minaj’s New Album
Nicki’s snippet might be from her upcoming fifth album. Earlier this year, Minaj told fans she’s “… back to enjoying music. You know when you’re just back in your zone, and your creativity is on high, and you can just do it in your sleep. It’s magic again. This album will definitely be my best album of all time thus far.”
Nicki also tweeted, “If you mention “HipHop” in 2021 & don’t mention #SeeingGreen, that tells me everything I need to know.” ‘Seeing Green’ is Nicki’s, Drake’s, and Lil Wayne’s feature, which came out in the middle of May.
Young Money Entertainment recently crowned Nicki Minaj the “Queen of Rap.” Nicki has all the reasons to hold this title. You can find out here how Nicki’s career and art put her on a pedestal.
