If Rick Ross has something to say, then he will say it. Biting his tongue is not something he is known for doing. Ross often goes to his social media pages, especially Instagram, to speak his mind. He went to Instagram to end the month of May with a message to people looking for a handout. Not everyone liked the message.
No Handouts Only Hard Work For Rozay

The Boss explains that he works hard because no one wealthy is going to give him a handout. He points out that you can be broke in a room full of wealthy people, and no one would be willing to help you. In their minds, you should be able to work for anything you need. He believes “begging” is frowned upon in the circles of the rich.
“I already know how it go,” he raps. “That’s why I go hard because I know how it go. You could be in a room full of the wealthiest motherf**kers in the world and tell them, ‘I have nothing, I’m hungry.’ They’re going to look at you and say, ‘Well what the f**k are you doing standing next to me begging?’”
Ross continues on with his message about the wealthy. He continues by saying the rich people you want a handout from will question you even further.
“Where’s your brother, where’s your mother, where’s your father, where’s your kinfolk, you don’t have any friends?” he asks the listener. “You don’t have anything to establish yourself or worth something in anyone’s life?”
Rozay says the questions will circle around your personal connections. Family and friends should be the people helping you when you’re struggling to eat. Someone in your life should have anything worth something. According to Ross, asking for a handout won’t benefit you.
“That’s what they’re going to tell you,” Ross declares. “If you think begging is going to get you something, you f**ked up.”
DJ Akademik reposted the Rick Ross handouts video on his Instagram page. Over 300 people took time to comment on the repost. Some people agreed with what Ross said in his video, but others did not. One person that disagreed was Waka Flocka Flame.
“But where’s the morality?” Waka asks in an Instagram post.
With one line, Waka challenges the morality of Ross’s message. Helping someone less fortunate than you should be encouraged, Waka argues. The spreading of wealth should require morality, even though it isn’t, and sometimes people need a handout, he adds.
Ross hasn’t responded to Waka, and he probably won’t, so while this will most likely be the end of the dispute, who knows.
